How long does a detail take?
Express is about 1.5 to 2 hours, Express Full about 2.5 to 3, a Deep Clean about 3 to 3.5, and a Full Detail 4 to 5 hours. We give you a window when we confirm the booking, and we tell you if the car turns out to need longer.
What is the difference between Express and Deep Clean?
Extraction. Express is surface work: vacuum, wipe down, glass. Deep Clean pulls what is down in the fibres of the seats and carpets back out, which is what actually shifts stains, spills and ground in dirt. If the car is basically tidy, Express is enough. If something has been spilled or the carpets have had a hard winter, book the Deep Clean.
Can you get pet hair out?
Yes, and it is one of the things we get asked for most. Pet hair work is part of the Deep Clean and Full Detail levels, not Express, because getting it properly out of fabric takes the extraction stage. A heavy pet hair job can adjust the final price, and we tell you that at the walk around.
Will the price change once you see the car?
It can, on any package, if there is heavy soiling or a lot of pet hair, or if the car needs more than the level you booked. That includes Express: if we get there and the car is in worse shape than described, we will say so and tell you what it would cost to do it properly, before we start. Whatever the number is, you hear it at the walk around before we start, not when we hand the keys back.
How far do you travel?
Truro, Bible Hill, Brookfield, Stewiacke and anywhere else within 25 km of Truro at no extra cost. Past 25 km we add a $15 travel fee. If you are not sure whether you are in range, call or text and we will tell you straight.
How do I pay, and do you need a deposit?
No deposit to book. You pay when the job is finished, cash or e-transfer, whichever suits you.
How does booking work?
Book online in about two minutes: pick a package, tell us what you are driving and roughly what state it is in, and choose a date. We call you back within a day to pin down the time. If what you described sounds like a different package would suit better, we will say so rather than just take the booking.
Do you detail trucks and SUVs?
Yes. Every package has two prices, one for a standard car and one for a truck or SUV, and the truck price is what you will see quoted for anything larger. Vans and larger vehicles, give us a call and we will work it out with you.
